I paste the code in "about me" and it is only showing backgrounds and layouts around the border, the middle is all white...this ISNT when I am just previewing the page, it stays like that.....and when I do get a background to work, it will sometimes just flash and then go blank again....how can I fix this?

maybe you forgot to paste some words or the code is wrong. sometimes that happens. how about you try another layout??? there are many website for myspace layouts. here i will give you some.

Maybe the coding is just bad from where you got it. Or its possible you didn't copy the entire coding? Which would leave the brackets open to mess it up when viewing.
