Why can't I change my background on myspace?

I'm trying to make the background I picture, but when I type in the website and press slect, the background stays the same.

you have to go to a special page, goggle this, "Myspace Layouts" then go to the saite, pick one you like, copy the code, go to ur myspace, then to edit profile next to ur pic, and in about me paste the code, click save, go out, click veiw my profile and tada
