How do you put a background on myspace?

If you have a background picture and code already, skip to 4, otherwise read on.

1. Find a nice photo or image. Size should be 1024x768 pixels or more

2. Then you put your image on a hosting site, like photobucket.com or imageshack.us

3. Finally use a background code generator and paste the code in your layout.

4. There are great tutorials for all this on backgroundsarchive.com

I am working on a blog to explain all these simple techniques. Check it out

How do you put a background on myspace?

putting in html under Edit Profile%26gt;%26gt;About Me (or any of the other ones below it)..

%26lt;BODY BGCOLOR="#??????"%26gt; - Background Colour. This is how the colour of the background of your page can be changed. The 6 question marks represent the numbers that make up the hexadecimal code for a particular colour. For a list of popular colours and their hexadecimal codes see the Colour Codes.

%26lt;BODY BACKGROUND="url"%26gt; - Background. HTML documents can have either tiled patterns or background wallpapers. To do this you have to specify which image you require to be set as the background. Note: large wallpaper type backgrounds may cause pages to load slowly.

If you do the URL, you'll have to upload your background onto photobucket.com, or something of the sort.

Also, if you don't want to go through all the work of that.. you can go to http://www.mygen.co.uk and find an already made myspace page, or make your own with a couple steps.. It's quite easy.. You just copy/paste the codes you get from there into the About Me.
